Where is the time going?????

Really........someone tell me how Halloween has "creeped" up on me and Christmas is only 2 months away????? It's crazy around here.
I have to admit, this card was done a couple of weeks ago when I found some spare time.
It's a real easy one, just punched 3 creepy trees, 3 scalloped squares, added some ribbon, some pearls, designer paper, and a sentiment.
It's all a mix of Papertrey Ink, Martha Stewart, SU!, and Recollections.
That's it................and that's my post for tonight - back with more soon!!

MIA

Hello All.........
Just posting a note to let anyone who visits my blog know that I am still around!!
I've been quite busy taking on a new job and working on my last semester.
I will have cards posting again soon, I promise!
Until then.....
Here is a little tip I would like to share:
When I make my cards, I keep a post-it pad handy. As I create, I list my stamps, papers, and embellishments on the post-it. Then I can put that post it on the inside of the card so the information is available when I finally get time to put the card in my gallery or on my blog.
If any of you are like me, you can't make a card, photograph it, and post it all in one sitting. This makes it easier to have all the details with the card.
Sometimes it is days before I can post a creation and this makes it easy and quick to get them posted since I don't have to chase down names, colors, stamps, etc.
That's all for now............please stay tuned!!

More Halloween

It's been a busy couple of weeks starting a new job and all, as well as 6 soccer games in 10 days! A bunch of other stuff is going on......some good, some bad, but it all sets me back a little.
Needless to say, I have not gotten a lot of crafting done.
The picture is not the greatest, but you get the idea. This card uses more of the creepy cloth I got from the dollar store and a Martha Stewart die cut spider. Added orange rhinestones for the eyes. The sentiment is from the 2009 Halloween Tags set from Papertrey Ink again.
The designer paper is from the Recollections pad. I added a couple of paper punched scary branches - also from Martha Stewart.

Creepy Spiders...........

Last night, I was in the Halloween spirit. I bought a few new "frightful" crafting items last weekend and was inspired.
This card uses some new Recollections Halloween designer paper I found at Michael's. I love these spiders!!
I used my dripping blood punch from Martha Stewart and some creepy cloth I got at the dollar store.
The stamped sentiment is from August's release at Papertrey Ink,
I thought it might be missing something, but then I decided not to add anything else so those spiders stand out.
The paper is PTI Smokey Shadow, Summer Sunrise, and SU! Old Olive.
Stay tuned for a couple more Halloween cards..........

Thanks for stopping by!!
