FWF

Happy Friday all!! I have a couple of very simple cards to share with you today on this Friends with Flair Friday!!
These were made using the Unity {ippity} kit - Straight from the Heart.
(I am offering this kit for $12 since Valentine's Day is just around the corner - email me if you are interested - I have 3 in stock!)
I wanted "more" to stand out in the sentiment, so I used markers to color it red.
A little glitter was added to the centers of the hearts on both cards.
That's it.......pretty basic cards today!
Enjoy your weekend!!

H{ippity} Hop Monday

Just a quick little post to share some {ippity} on this wet, dark, rainy morning.....
For this card, I used the branch from the Devoted Kit
and the sentiment is from Just Wanted to Say.
Both are {ippity} kits and both are available to purchase from my blog!!
The card layout is very simple and yes, on Kraft!! I am really stuck on Kraft lately - I guess because it is so versatile.
The patterned paper is some My Minds Eye I had picked up a while ago.
Ribbon: SU! Chocolate Chip Grosgrain.
Tip: These stamps are cling type stamps and are not mounted to any wood block allowing for more flexibility in using them. For this one, I stamped the branch straight once and then stamped it again curving the stamp a little before sticking it onto the acrylic block!
Super easy!!

Along the same line as the card I posted about the other day, Kraft, Soft Suede, and more of the Memory Box papers.
This card was stamped with Unity's The Artist in You kit. Donna Downey was the artist on this kit and I absolutely love it!! These images are so my style.
I stamped the image and then stamped off for a lighter shade, then sponged the edges.
That's it, pretty simple. The sentiment is from the {ippity} kit Just Wanted to Say.
Off to do some more creating!! Keep stopping by and thanks for looking!!

FWF.......where did the week go??

Happy Friday!!
I know I say this all the time, but I'm not sure where the week went!
Anyway, here is a card for your viewing pleasure on this Friends with Flair Friday!

This card uses the Unity kit they released for CKU. I can't link it up, because I can't find it on their site. I think I snagged it when it was sold for a limited time.
Anyhow, it is a miniature version of their ever versatile Giggle Grove set.
The sentiment is from {ippity} kit Just Wanted to Say.
I kept the layout pretty simple, added some SU! Very Vanilla ribbon and some pearls.
The paper is some Memory Box I had sitting around.
Thanks for stopping by!! Enjoy your weekend....its more hockey this weekend for me!!

Simple is good..........

Probably one of the most simple cards I've made....
The stamp is from Unity Kit - Confessions: i luv Unity.
I stamped it in black and filled in the centers with Martha Stewart Micro beads in different colors. The sentiment is from {ippity} kit, Simply Home.
Added some PTI ribbon and punched the rounded edges.
Very simple, fun card. This is the kind of card that is easy to mass produce and simply change the sentiment!

A Challenge...

I really liked the colors for the most current Raspberry Suite Color Challenge #21 and decided to give it a try this week.
I put this square card together the other night using Rustic Cream, Aqua Mist, Chocolate Chip, and some Kraft. My yellow is in the ribbon and the lemon Kaiser Pearls on the flower.

This cute little "sprig" is from December Kit of the Month from Unity. I turned mine upside down for this card. The sentiment is from one of the {ippity} sets I have for sale right now.............Just Wanted To Say.
This is a super versatile set with lots of useful sentiments and borders to go around them. The stamps are very high quality and stamp beautifully crisp and clear.
Sorry for the photo quality - it's kind of bright - getting used to my new camera is taking a little time. Thanks for stopping by!!

Friends with Flair...

Wow.....Friday already! Can't believe how fast this rather crappy week has actually gone by. Heading into a very busy weekend full of hockey - big home ice tournament and 3, possibly 4 games over the next couple days.
I am not a big fan of Valentine's Day, but put this card together using my {ippity} kit
This is a great Valentine's stamp set and I have it for sale! In stock and ready to ship!!
Offering it now for $12.00 plus S&H!!

Take a close look at the paper I used...........see that little bird - it matches the set perfectly!
It is from the Cosmo Cricket Nutmeg mini deck.

Happy New Year!!

2010 is here!! The holidays consumed all of the free time I had, so there was not much creating going on. I did finish up my college classes and am happy to report that I got a 3.9.
The hard work was worth it and I now have another degree under my belt.

In between all the school work, shopping, wrapping, etc, I was able to complete a cute little project that was gifted to a teacher (obviously).
There are thank you and just a note cards which always come in handy for teachers. Especially this time of year.
I made a set of 8 cards using various Unity and Papertrey Ink sets.
I used my notebook punch to get the notepaper effect.
Apples, pencils, paper clips, and book images worked great for these.

The cards were gifted in this cute file box I made using a template I bought a while back from Papertrey Ink.
It's called Filed with Flair and although Lauren Meader is no longer with them, you can still purchase the template. It fits A2 cards perfectly as well as many other things. This is one of the most versatile templates I have found.

Thanks for looking and the best to all of you for 2010!!
