Something for Wednesday...

They don't get much simpler than this one.....

I stamped the ladybug from the Unity Kit of the Month - Rockin' It Unity Style - for March 2010 three times. Then I stamped it again, colored it, put black glitter on the "spots", and cut it out. It is on there with a dimensional adhesive. I rounded the edges and added a sentiment.

That's it! Super easy card to make!
Some nights when I sit down to stamp, things just aren't coming together. I sit for a long time trying to come up with something. I over think what I want to do. Reverting back to easy cards like this makes me feel like I at least accomplished something.

{ippity} on a Monday

Just a quick {ippity} post for this last Monday in March..........where did the month go??
I used one of the new papers from the paper pack that came with the last {ippity} release. I love this plaid - it's by My Minds Eye. SU! Wild Wasabi & Certainly Celery compliment this paper nicely too.

This card also uses two kits from {ippity} Stamps:

I have both sets available for sale HERE on my blog!

Friends with Flair...

I know I say this every week, but I can't believe it is Friday already.........where did the week go? Earlier this week, I got my March Kit of the Month

Lots of super cute stamps in this kit. I loved this picket fence/flower combo. I immediately thought of Kraft paper with my white gel pen.

Here is what I came up with.
The sentiment is from one of the {ippity} kits I have for sale....
A really basic layout and added some sheer ribbon.....that's it!

Have a great weekend everyone and thanks for stopping by!

Some {ippity}......it's Monday

Have a simple, pretty card to share today. I just love this stem from the {ippity} kit...
The sentiment is from {ippity} kit....

Both kits are available for purchase from me through my blog.
(just click the {ippity} page at the top!)

The ribbon is a different color.........it's a mix of light brown/soft pink. I actually hit the Dollar Tree the other day and got tons of ribbon. They had 5/8" grosgrain ribbon spools. Lots and lots of colors and each spool had 5 yds.!!! It was quality ribbon too.
I went back twice and picked up more each time.
I think I bought 2 (or 3) each of every color. Could not pass up the deal and you can never have too much ribbon, right??

Enjoy your week all!

Friday Flair with an {ippity} Twist

Sharing another little gift box today made using the Card Catch All template I got from My Time Made EasyLLC a few weeks ago.
I plan on using this one as a baby gift. I am thinking of rolling a few onesies and putting them inside and then adding a small rattle or toy of some sort.
I'll photograph what I come up with, but wanted to share the box today.
The stamp set is from the newest {ippity} release Moon Beam & Heart Strings......
You can see it and purchase it HERE.
I am really lovin' this kit right now - yet another versatile kit from {ippity} /Unity.
I used SU! Bashful Blue and Not Quite Navy.
The stars are coated with SU! Dazzling Diamonds.
I am also lovin' this template right now. It is so easy to put together and there are so many uses for these little boxes. I've made about a dozen of them over the past two weeks.
Well worth the $5 for the template!!
Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend!

Off to Buffalo!

No crafting for me this weekend.........tonight we are on the road and headed to Buffalo, NY for a hockey tournament.
Our Squirt team is competing in the Pepsi Tournament and attending a Buffalo Sabres game in between. Should be lots of fun!
The photo is from our Sectionals competition (we placed 3rd). My son is the boy on the far right...........not so sure why so far :) He likes his space, he he.
Be sure to check back, lots of stuff to show you next week!

{ippity} Treat for Monday

I'm excited to share this with you today!!
It's a cute little file box that you can put your photos into. It's great for holding your photos before you scrap them or you can even keep them in there if you wish.
I made tabbed dividers so you can sort them too!!

Let me begin by telling you about the file box...
I've been following Lauren Meader HERE for quite some time.
I also followed her My Timeless Templates over at Papertrey Ink.
She recently started her own business and continued offering templates.
I got this template over at My Time Made Easy LLC.........
These templates are super easy to use and so versatile. Make sure you check them out!

I've made quite a few of these from this template, and decided to show this one today. It is the perfect size for cards, photos, and so many other things.
I used Kraft, SU! Soft Suede, and PTI Rustic Cream.
The stamps.........{ippity} of course.
I thought the stamps were perfect for this project!

Both sets are available to purchase from me

Friday, Friends, Flair...

Almost forgot to post today.........I've been so busy creating lately that I have not gotten on the computer for much!
I finally got to use this balloon stamp that I love from the Unity Kit of the Month for December 2009....
I stamped the balloon onto PTI Rustic Cream cardstock, on SU! Ruby Red, and again on some Cosmo Cricket Nutmeg paper.
Cut and paper pieced the flowers on the red, placed on the card with Glue Dots, then added ribbon.
Nothing really fancy at all.
I will have some of the projects I've been working on all week posted soon, so be sure to check back!!
Enjoy your weekend!!

Monday = H{ippity} Hop!!

Monday is here already!! The weekend flew right by again....

I did this card last week and just have not posted it yet. It's another card using that piece of corrugated paper that came as packing material in something I bought. I punched a scalloped circle and sponged the edges.
The butterfly is from {ippity} kit:
and the sentiment is from {ippity} kit:

Again, I have used Kraft for my card base and some of the Cosmo Cricket Nutmeg paper. The ribbon is some American Crafts from Michaels.

That's it, quick and simple.

I have lots of {ippity} kits for sale

Happy Monday - have a great week everyone!!
