More October Afternoon

I have another card set to share this week.  I am just slightly
hooked on October Afternoon papers lately.
This set uses the 9 to 5 line......
and just as a warning :) - I just got my Cakewalk papers in too!!
I like that line so much I bought 2 paper pads and all of the 12 x 12....

These card use the manila tags I have in my shop, twine, tiny paperclips, and
some adhesive pearls.
It's a simple layout that can very easily be mass produced!

Butterfly Note Cards

A quick post today to share a CAS set of butterfly note cards.
I used more of the October Afternoon - Farmhouse papers
and die cut some butterflies.

Added a little button and twine to each one.
No sentiment, no stamping at all actually.
You could use these as they are for note cards, or you could
add a sentiment as needed...

Freckled Fawn

I have recently had the pleasure of being part of the June Oh Deer Me Kits over at

If you are looking for washi tape, this is THE place to go...
They have so many styles to choose from.
(Be careful, its addicting)
They also carry doilies, tags, and fabric tape too.

The monthly kit project has started with the June kit and it sold out really, really fast!

They gathered bits and pieces from several different indie crafter's shops and
put them together to make up the kit below.

My little cork tags we part of the first kit.
They are now working on July's kit............
can't wait to see it!!

Be sure to stop by Freckled Fawn and tell them I sent you!!

Using Up Scraps...

Today I have a couple of cards to share that I put together using some of the
scraps that I have accumulated...

I don't like to throw out any scraps.  I always think there must be somewhere I can use
these eventually.  I know I'm not alone in this either.
This fun "thanks" sentiment is from Paper Smooches, the paper is Simple Stories,
and I made up a flower to finish off the card.
Nothing fancy, quite simple and I've used up some scraps!

Gift Bag with flower...

Made up this elegant looking gift bag the other day.
I just love black and cream together - they are so rich looking.

Some My Minds Eye papers with kraft and black twine and a button worked
great together to make a loopy flower.

The bag is perfect for gifting for many different occasions.  I left off any kind of sentiment
so it is more versatile to who ever ends up purchasing it.
(I listed it in my shop - HERE )

Flower Embellishments

I just recently purchased the October Afternoon - 9 to 5 line of paper
and I love it.
Had some time this past weekend (since it was raining) and put
together some flower embellishments.

I used several different sheets from the 8x8 paper pack and
punched out a bunch of flowers - the Notched Flower Die from PTI.
I sponged the edges with a little tea dye, layered them, and added a button and
some twine.

I have added these to my Etsy shop today
You can also get the twine I used there as well...
