Project Thursday ~ Blossom Watercolor

It's been a little while since my last Project Thursday post, but we are back with a new stamp set and a new set of project posts are ready to share with you.

For my project, I decided to attempt water coloring.  The flowers in the Blossom Set are perfect to stamp onto watercolor paper and paint.  I decided to keep this card super simple and do just that.  One simple flower to stand out matted on Doll Pink Paper.

As is the case with so many other Precious Remembrance Stamp Sets, this one has so many possibilities!!

It's Release Day!

It's release day for Precious Remembrance Stamps and here is the newest stamp set
now available in the Precious Remembrance Stamp Shop.

Introducing:  The Blossom Stamp Set

I'm in love with the flowers and the variety of the sentiments in this set.

I chose to keep it CAS again for my project - right down to the black & white. I made a card using one of the flowers and then to showcase the card,  I will be using it with a gift bag die cut so the card can be displayed with the bag instead of tucked inside an envelope.  It really makes the gift presentation so much nicer, I think.

I am going to try some watercoloring with these flowers in the near future, so stay tuned.

Now onto business - as with all of our releases, we are blog hopping and have a giveaway:

A Card and a Shop Update...

Taking a minute tonight to share a card I made last week.....
I splattered some white color mist onto a mini Kraft paper bag to use with a doily for the background and then added a die cut butterfly.  The sentiment stamped on the bag says "Thank You". (not so clear in the picture)

Also - I have reduced the prices on almost all of the Destash stamps and some of the clearance ribbon in the shop!  Stop over HERE and check it all out!
