My Birthday/Christmas Present

I'm so excited!!!

Today is my birthday and since it is so close to Christmas, I often get a present that "covers" both.............this is what I got this year from my husband and son!!

The Canon EOS Rebel XS.

This is so much more camera than I am used to, but I can't wait to figure it all out and get snapping some awesome photos!!

Friday Friends with Flair

Here is another {ippity} card for your viewing pleasure for Friday Friends with Flair.

On this one, I used more of the SU! Soft Suede and Rustic Cream from PTI.

The snowflake background and the sentiment were stamped using

the {ippity} Kissmas & Mistletoe kit.

I punched a couple of snowflakes and added a button and some twine.

Pretty simple really!

Stocking gift box...

Just a quick little post tonight to show you a stocking gift/treat box fitting for the holidays!!

I got this template from Papertrey Ink - Stocking Stuffer.

It is one of Lauren Meader's creations and it is FREE to download!!

The paper is Chocolate Chip and My Minds Eye.

I stamped a tag with my Papertrey Set - Holiday Tree.

These are so easy to make and can hold small gifts or even some holiday treats for teachers, kids, co-workers, etc.....

My New Project!!

Have you seen this?? This is a project started by Eryn over at {ippity}/Unity stamps.

Her post is HERE...

It is the start of her book documenting the days leading to Christmas.

Well, it got me thinking and I am starting my own "December Daily" book tonight!! I will be documenting the next 25 days in a nice little book for my son!

It is a project we will work on together. I think it will be fun!!





I will be starting with this Grunge Board book (Tim Holtz) that I have had sitting around for some time. Now is as good a time as any to put it to use, right??


I will post more later and then continue to post the progress on this!

And as Eryn mentions, just about all of the new {ippity} kits would come in handy on this project in one way or another! Just look at how she has used them already!!

Quick card to share.....

Nothing super fancy here...........this card is Papertrey all the way tonight. The paper is the new Rustic Snowflake pack from PTI and the ribbon is PTI Pure Poppy.

The sentiment is from PTI too..........Signature Christmas designed by Dawn McVey.

I simply punched a couple of snowflakes and added some rhinestones to them....that's it!

I really enjoy putting together these simple cards!!

Wanted to share some cute little gift boxes I made last night using the {ippity} stamps I currently have for sale right now.

These boxes use the Kissmas & Mistletoe set for the most part.

A card to share.......and {ippity}!

Since I don't yet have my {ippity} yet, I'll share a card with some of my other Unity Stamps. This is one of their newest Christmas sets and I love the entire set.

Bright & Merry Winter Wishes

This card was done on PTI white cardstock, stamped in SU! Ruby Red Ink, and the designer paper is the Christmas line from PTI released last month.

I punched a snowflake in grey and glittered it up!

The top picture is a close up to show you how great these stamps are! They are deeply etched red rubber and stamp so clearly.

(Not the clearest close up, but you get the idea)

A Christmas Card

Wow, can you believe it?? I actually had some time to sit and create this week.

I wish it was with some {ippity} stamps, but I settled for some new Unity that I had not been able to ink up yet.

This set is Bright & Merry Wishes. I love this little "tree" with a message.

The card base is Kraft with a layer of PTI Dark Chocolate.

The designer paper is My Minds Eye.

It is hard to tell from the photo, but the snowflakes have some Dazzling Diamonds and there is some "snow" under the tree.
