Scraps!

If any of you are like me and love 6x6 paper pads, then you must also end up 

at some point with lots of scraps from those papers......

The possibilities for using up the bits n' pieces are endless!

For each of these cards, I used up the scraps I had from some American Crafts

6x6 pads.  Each one has a die cut tag from the Reverse Confetti Tag Me set.

Butterflies, sequins, and twine finish off each card nicely.

For this Project Thursday, I chose a simple layout and used the "never give up" sentiment

from the DIY stamp set.  

A Kraft base, some mini doilies, a button, and some twine.

Simple card with a big message!

Project Thursday - Library Journal Cards

For this weeks Project Thursday at Precious Remembrance Stamp Shop,

I put together this set of journaling cards.  Project Life type scrapbooking albums are quite popular

right now and I used both of the newly release sets on these.

Precious Remembrance November Release is Here...

Today's the day!

November's stamp release with Precious Remembrance Stamps  has two sets being revealed...

My release day project is a CAS card using the DIY set.  When I saw this set, I thought of teachers, school, etc.  So I just happened to have just picked up the Simple Stories paper pad Smarty Pants and put the two together.

I even cut out an extra apple to add to the tag!

Joy...

It's no surprise that I love snowflakes.  I put them into most of my projects this time of year.

I actually have to force myself in another direction sometimes....

On this card, the paper does most of the work.

The sentiment is PTI from a kit called 'Tis the Season Sentiments.

One of the snowflakes is from a PTI die and the other is from Simon Says Stamp.

I embellished with some white thread and a black stone.

Love this tree...

I've been super busy with lots going on, but in between I've still hada little creative time.  During a recent scrapbook retreat, I workedon some holiday stuff.

I got some time to work with some new dies that I got just before the retreat.  I love this tree die set from Simon Says Stamp called Layered Tree.  Up top is a fun, bright card made using a Paper Smooches sentiment.  Below is a softer, prettier version with some more neutral colors.

The sentiment here is from an Ali Edwards Technique Tuesday December Daily set from last year.
