New Release Day....

Today is release day for the newest of the Precious Remembrance Stamp Sets
School Days.  We are blog hopping today to showcase the design teams creations!

For my project I put together a little "file folder" type card.  I used some school themed designer papers and die cut a blackboard style apple.  This card is great to use for any school related accomplishment throughout the school year!  Parents or teachers can pass this along to a deserving student and even add a little note or tuck a little gift card inside.

And here is the complete new set - School Days

Cleaning out the Etsy Shop....

I am still trying to clear out some items from my Etsy supply shop.  There are over 100 items marked way down and they need to go.  I am trying to make room to bring in some newer items to the shop.

Check it out!  There are tags, ribbon, stamps, boxes, sequins, and treat bags of all colors and sizes that are marked down.

In case you did not know it - I have a second shop where I sell my handmade items....

Most of what I make and post via Instagram or my blog will be available to purchase in this shop!

Summer was a blur....

Hello's been a while since I have posted to my blog.  We've had an extremely busy summer and it has flown right on by.  I have had very little time to sit and craft, but did find a little time here and there to get a few things done.

I know summer is not quite over, but I got my hands on some new die cuts a couple of weeks ago and got the itch to get started using them.  The only problem is, they are Christmas dies......
As busy as I have been, I guess starting holiday cards now is not so bad, right!?!?

Here are a couple using the cute new holiday tree dies from Poppy Stamps (Memory Box).  I love the versatility of these trees.  They really can be used year round, with various papers, and in lots of different colors too.
I added a little twine and a veneer snowflake to the tree.  The tree is die cut from paper that was spritzed with some white paper paint.  Love this effect!

Project Thursday ~ Blossom Watercolor

It's been a little while since my last Project Thursday post, but we are back with a new stamp set and a new set of project posts are ready to share with you.

For my project, I decided to attempt water coloring.  The flowers in the Blossom Set are perfect to stamp onto watercolor paper and paint.  I decided to keep this card super simple and do just that.  One simple flower to stand out matted on Doll Pink Paper.

As is the case with so many other Precious Remembrance Stamp Sets, this one has so many possibilities!!

It's Release Day!

It's release day for Precious Remembrance Stamps and here is the newest stamp set
now available in the Precious Remembrance Stamp Shop.

Introducing:  The Blossom Stamp Set

I'm in love with the flowers and the variety of the sentiments in this set.

I chose to keep it CAS again for my project - right down to the black & white. I made a card using one of the flowers and then to showcase the card,  I will be using it with a gift bag die cut so the card can be displayed with the bag instead of tucked inside an envelope.  It really makes the gift presentation so much nicer, I think.

I am going to try some watercoloring with these flowers in the near future, so stay tuned.

Now onto business - as with all of our releases, we are blog hopping and have a giveaway:

A Card and a Shop Update...

Taking a minute tonight to share a card I made last week.....
I splattered some white color mist onto a mini Kraft paper bag to use with a doily for the background and then added a die cut butterfly.  The sentiment stamped on the bag says "Thank You". (not so clear in the picture)

Also - I have reduced the prices on almost all of the Destash stamps and some of the clearance ribbon in the shop!  Stop over HERE and check it all out!

Throughout some of the purging I've done so far this year, I stumbled on some little note pads that I had picked up quite a while ago intending to decorate them.
They are about 3" x 5" and have lined pages inside.

I trimmed some cardstock to wrap around the front and back of the note pad, making a "cover" for it.  Than I used some MME paper I had, new PTI vellum, a button, die cut butterflies, and some twine.
The notes stamp is also PTI from the Take Note Stamp Set.
I like they way this turned out.  Soft yellow and gray make a great color combo.

I found some other notebooks I had set aside and I am hoping to get some time to embellish a few of those soon too!
