Bloggers Day of Silence...please read!

I am subscribed to several blogs and one update came my way yesterday that I felt I should pass on.....
A couple of bloggers have joined together:
&
They have started a campaign to aid Japan in their time of need - For Japan With Love
We have all seen the devastation.
I feel a need to do something, and this caught my eye.
My blog will remain "silent" tomorrow March 18th
AND
I have made a donation toward their Shelter Box fundraising campaign.
It is amazing to me that they were aiming for $5,000 and have already passed $11,000!!
Please join me in silence!!

Some Paper Smooches for Tuesday!

A fun little flowery card to share today with all of my blog readers.....
Something new - stamps from Paper Smooches!
Kim Hughes is now selling her own line of stamps and her images are so fun!
I love how cute (and versatile) they all are.
I got the Friendly Flowers kit to start (I'm sure I will be buying more) and there are so many possibilities with these images its just crazy.
For this card, I paper pieced this super sweet plaid flower.
I added some cotton muslin fabric as a bow and accented with some scallops.

Missing You - FWF

Got a chance last weekend to get a little "crafty" and make some cards.
They don't get much simpler than this one.
All Kraft, brown ink, white ink, and some colored pencils.
The stamps I used:
This stamp is currently available through me for only $4!  Quantities limited.)

I love the look of white on Kraft and sponged around the burlap image and edges of the card to soften it a little.  The card looks much better in person than in the photograph.
Have a great Friday and wonderful weekend!!

Hello...

2 Days in a row..........wow, can't believe it myself!
Here is another very simple card I put together using some of the
Core'dinations cardstock I recently won.
Yes, I won it!  Hard to believe because I never win anything, but I won a sample package of this cardstock and I also just recently won a box full of stuff from Zutter!

On the card, I used the lighter and darker blue.  When the darker blue is sanded, it looks just like denim.
There is a strip of torn cotton muslin fabric in there too.
I wrapped each die cut (Labels 1) with some Ivory Rustic Twine,
then stamped my sentiment (from Unity).

More super simple cards coming soon....

REMINDER:
I still have lots of {ippity} kits at really low prices......
see them all HERE.
