Less is More - Sketch Challenge

I am a big fan of CAS.

I love a simple sketch, layout, etc.....

Over at the Less is More blog - I picked the sketch above. 

Super basic card with Washi Tape for the focus and a couple of 

heart shaped buttons with string bows to make it pop just a little.

Retrosketches #9

It's been a pretty quite weekend, so I took some time to participate in 

the challenge at Retro Sketches again...

They are up to sketch #9 already and 

here is my take on it.

The sunflowers and sentiment are all PTI.  I added some MME paper, 

Kraft rustic twine, and some adhesive pearls.

Lace Adhesive Tapes are in...

Finally received my shipment of Lace Adhesive Tape

for the Etsy Shop.

Great for cards, scrapbooks, mini albums, and gift wrapping too!

I have 7 colors available in the cotton lace ...

and I have 3 colors available in 

the metallic/cotton lace adhesive tape.

They are so much prettier in person!

Goodie Bags....Just a Peek @ some new product....

I got a chance to put together some "dolled up" Bitty Bags the other day.

I used more of the Buttercup paper from Lily Bee Designs that I recently purchased 

along with some doilies, library cards and some Divine Twine.

I left these basic with no particular sentiment so they may be used for any 

number of special occasions....

These are Kraft with White Polka Dot Middy Bitty Bags that are approximately 5" x 7".

They will hold many types of gifts or goodies.

AND....

Just sharing a little peek of some new adhesive lace/washi type tape that will be 

added to my Etsy Shop in the 

near future.........

I should be receiving it soon and in about 7-8 different colors too!

More Gift Bags & Retro Sketch Challenge #6

Here are a couple more gift bags made using a die from PTI.

I got some of the new Lily Bee Designs papers and could not wait to use them.

This Buttercup Collection looks so clean and crisp on white.

I also used this line to make some other embellished bags that I

will share when I finally get some sun to photograph them.

I'll be adding these bags to my Etsy shop a little later....

My card for this weeks Retro Sketch Challenge is actually

a small file folder.

Really simple/basic....

Pocket Tags

Got my hands on some pocket tags and could not wait to 

dress them up.....

I used some papers from a Crate Paper 6x6 pad  I had lying around

and put these together this past weekend.

I kept them simple and did not add any sentiments so they may

be used for lots of different occasions.

Makes them all that more versatile.

Mother's Day, Birthday,  Just Because.....

I made little matching note cards (blank inside) to sit in the pocket, but the

pocket can also be used for a gift card!

These would be really pretty tied to a gift or even a bottle of wine!

A Carnival Ticket Birthday

Today I have a couple of CAS birthday creations to share.

I used the carnival tickets available in my shop

to make a bright and cheery birthday card....

I also made another gift bag with the same layout.

On both the card and the bag, I used a real birthday candle for

some dimension.

The bag is die cut from a PTI die and the letters are too.

I used tickets for the letters so they would match perfectly!

For My Teacher Decorated Gift Bags

I finally got some time to work with the blank library cards

that I had added to my Etsy Shop a while ago...

I used the October Afternoon Schoolhouse line of papers

and made some gift bags perfect for end of the school year gifts.

These bags measure 5" x 7".

These are a great way to gift a small book, gift cards, sweet treats - like those

over sized chocolate bars.....possibilities are endless!
