Valentine's Day has passed us by, but this card could be used for lots of other "special" days.  

It's a pretty simple card, but I love how it turned out.

Reverse Confetti Sketch Challenge

I put this card together the other night for the Reverse Confetti 

Sketch for You to Try Challenge over on their blog.

I liked the CAS layout and although I don't have any of their stamps yet, I do have 

the Tag Me die set.

I made the tag from watercolor paper and painted the center of the tag with some red watercolor

paing.  Then I added a couple of die cut hearts and - in my own handwriting - added

"love" to the card.

Usually if I make cards around Valentine's Day, I make a card that will also pass for an anniversary or a just because card.

New Stamp release Blog Hop + Giveaway

It's that time again - new stamps available in the Precious Remembrance Shop!

I got my new set on Monday and immediately was drawn to the tiny little

coffee cup with the heart!  

I put together this 3x3 sized set of cards that are perfect for attaching to that perfect little gift.

I stamped the cup in dark brown and then used a gel pen to accent the heart in red.

Super simple, super cute!

Ombre Birthday

Just a quick post today to share a CAS birthday card.

I was sorting through some papers and this ombre zig zag paper caught my attention.

I simply cut a square out of the paper, added a die cut bow and strips to make it

look like a package!  Added a few sequins and a birthday sentiment.
