Summer was a blur....

Hello strangers....it's been a while since I have posted to my blog.  We've had an extremely busy summer and it has flown right on by.  I have had very little time to sit and craft, but did find a little time here and there to get a few things done.

I know summer is not quite over, but I got my hands on some new die cuts a couple of weeks ago and got the itch to get started using them.  The only problem is, they are Christmas dies......

As busy as I have been, I guess starting holiday cards now is not so bad, right!?!?

Here are a couple using the cute new holiday tree dies from Poppy Stamps (Memory Box).  I love the versatility of these trees.  They really can be used year round, with various papers, and in lots of different colors too.

I added a little twine and a veneer snowflake to the tree.  The tree is die cut from paper that was spritzed with some white paper paint.  Love this effect!
